As a parent, it can be heartbreaking to watch your child struggle—whether it's with anxiety, behavior issues, or difficulties at school.

You may feel unsure of how to help, frustrated by not having the right tools, or worried that their challenges will only grow.

You want to see them thrive, connect with others, and feel happy again, but it's hard to know where to start. Therapy can offer the support and guidance both you and your child need, providing a safe space for them to express their feelings, while giving you strategies to better understand and assist them on their journey.

It’s easy to lose sight of your own needs amid the chaos of daily life and the demands of raising children. You might find yourself feeling overwhelmed and exhausted, constantly prioritizing your child’s needs over your own. You want to thrive as an individual, so you can be the best version of yourself for your family, but without the right support, it feels like an uphill battle.

Jessica works with VA clients in person and virtually.

What would it feel like to finally have a space where you can be heard, supported, and start making the changes you've been wanting for you and your family?

My Approach

Hello, I'm Jessica! I help children and adolescents express their emotions and overcome challenges in a safe and creative environment. I work closely with parents because YOU have the greatest impact on your child. During sessions with clients, I help them express their emotions, develop coping strategies, and build confidence through experiential techniques and CBT. I also meet with parents to teach them the skills and strategies we work on in sessions, empowering them to reinforce these tools at home. This collaborative approach ensures that progress made in therapy continues in everyday life.

In addition to my work with children and families, I have a passion for helping adults navigate their own personal journeys. Whether you seek assistance with ADHD management, organization, building confidence, or simply someone to sit with you in the moment, I'm here. My primary goal is to create a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you feel truly seen and heard. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and I’m here to support you towards self-discovery and growth. By fostering a strong therapeutic alliance, I encourage you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace, helping you gain deeper insight into your emotions and behaviors.

As a licensed professional counselor, I bring five years of experience across diverse settings, including outpatient, military communities, community service boards, and school-based environments. I work with various diagnoses and groups, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, military families, and LGBTQIA+. I strive to create a therapeutic alliance that comes full circle with you.
